What is iKeyMonitor?
Originally developed solely as a key-logger software, iKeyMonitor is a parental control and monitoring app that works on Android, iOS, PC, and MAC.
iKeyMonitor is marketed to parents and employers for the purpose of monitoring their children and staff. Although not fully hidden, the app can be disguised in the app drawer of the latest Android and iPhone models.
To get the most out of iKeyMonitor’s features, you will need physical access to install the software onto the target device. Like other monitoring software, iKeyMonitor will let you view Calls, Photos, Videos, Browser History, SMS, GPS location, and Keystrokes.
Advanced features we tested include Screenshots, Call Recording, REM CAM, and Ambient Recording. All captured data is conveniently uploaded for you to download or listen to on the portal. Unfortunately, iKeyMonitor does not offer a free Mobile Viewer App that lets users view data on-the-go – a component exclusive to industry leader FlexiSPY.
Another key set of features offered by iKeyMonitor is the ability to restrict web and app usage on the target device(not available for IOS). These Orwellian features may be frowned upon by some but can be useful in scenarios where the monitored subject is fully cooperative, such as a contracted employee or a compliant child. Although these features mean that the app can never be truly hidden, they are still useful to have for those who wish to restrict their child or employee’s app and web activities.

Please note that to make the most of iKeyMonitor, you will be REQUIRED to root or jailbreak the target device. In the worst-case scenario, improper rooting or jail-breaking can lead to a bricked device. For this reason, less tech-savvy customers may want to look for a trusted spy app that offers an Installation Service so you can sit back and relax as experts handle download process for you remotely.

iKeyMonitor is compatible with Android, iOS, PC, and MAC. Note that if you require Advanced features you will need to Root or Jailbreak the target device.
After testing, we found iKeyMonitor’s Jailbroken iPhone product to be limited when compared to their Android features, despite being priced the same. While the iCloud Spy App is not a viable monitoring solution due to several key limitations.
Lastly, you cannot download iKeyMonitor from Google Play or App store as the app is only available on the iKeyMonitor website.

A staple of most spy apps, you will be able to view all incoming and outgoing calls to the target device including date and time stamps.
Call Recording
All incoming and outgoing calls are recorded automatically and uploaded to the portal where you can conveniently download or listen to the audio file.

iKeyMonitor was originally developed strictly a keylogger, hence the name. Today, their keylogger feature offer cross-platform compatibility and will track keystrokes on most devices.
Whether keyboard input is done in an app or browser - users will be able to view everything that is typed on the target device.

Visibility
iKeyMonitor is hidden on Android devices operating on OS 9 and below. Due to several limitations, most spy apps are unable to fully conceal themselves on the latest Android devices.
In the case of iKeyMonitor, the program is not hidden on Android 15, but rather disguised.
After installation, the icon ‘Internet Services’ will remain in the app drawer and cannot be hidden as seen below.
Furthermore, iKeymonitor’s restrictive features such as app and website blocking mean the device owner will always be aware that they are being monitored. If you are monitoring a child or employee, this can lead them to altering their behaviour and activities on the device, or worse yet, continue those unwanted activities on an alternate device. Still, if you are openly monitoring the target device owner, the lack of discretion should not prove problematic.

Do iKeyMonitor's iPhone Products really Work?
iKeyMonitor offers two iPhone products: iPhone Jailbreak, which has over 20+features, and an iCloud Spy app, which offers only 6 features. Despite vastly different features and functionality, both are priced at $59.99/mo.
Please note that due to Apple’s security policies, iCloud Spy apps such as the one offered by iKeyMonitor are now considered obsolete and no longer a viable monitoring solution. Before diving into the limitations of iCloud Spy apps, let us examine iKeyMonitor’s iPhone Jailbreak product and compare it to the best in the market.
iKeyMonitor for iPhone Jailbreak
When we tested iKeyMonitor’s iPhone Jailbreak product we were disappointed that basic features such as the ability to view Photos, Videos, and Network History did not work.
Usefully, this version of iKeyMonitor allows you to block apps and games – this is great if you are openly monitoring and exerting control over a child or employee (without them minding or altering their behaviour). However, we believe that a true spy app will prioritize stealthy and discreet monitoring over brazen restrictive features.
Compare features of iKeyMonitor and FlexiSPY’s iPhone Jailbreak products and decide for yourself which offers more value for money.
iKey Monitor iCloud SpyApp
Apple’s recently updated its 2FA security policy, removing the option for device owners to disable two-factor authentication.
This means that most spy apps no longer offer a viable product for iOS devices that are not jailbroken.
Despite what iKeyMonitor advertises, you will not only need physical access to the iPhone, but also total control over the device owner’s Apple credentials to use the iCloud Spy app in any capacity.
This is because there is no way to turn off 2FA without creating a new Apple ID. Even if you managed to create a new account without 2FA enabled, Apple will automatically enable 2FA after two weeks.
Furthermore, during the time where 2FA is not enabled, Apple flags iKeyMonitor for suspicious activity for accessing the iCloud back up, a password reset will then be triggered as seen below
As you can see, iKeyMonitor’s iCloud spy app will not enable you to discreetly monitor a target iPhone without the device owner’s knowledge. In fact, there is currently only one reliable solution for monitoring iPhone devices.
